Telus Health Student Support 

Telus Health is available to part-time students who are ineligible for CAPS during the Fall and Spring semesters, as well as any student enrolled in summer courses (see detailed eligibility information below). 

 This program offers 24/7 remote mental health and well-being support, empowering students to access self-directed digital resources and the opportunity to connect with experienced clinical professionals through their therapy services  (Telus Health refers to it as Counseling Services). 

Services & Eligibility  

Therapy Services: 

Part-Time Student Eligibility (Fall & Spring Semesters)

  •  Fall & Spring Only: Students enrolled in part-time courses during Fall and Spring are
    eligible for care from the start to the end of each respective semester
  • Fall, Spring & Winter Term: Students enrolled in all three terms are eligible for care
    continuously from the beginning of the Fall semester until the end of the Spring
    semester.

Any Moravian Student enrolled in summer courses will have access to therapy services through Telus Health Student Support during their registered terms and interval between any two consecutive registered terms. 

  • Summer Telus Care Eligibility for Therapy Services
    • May Term Only: Students enrolled in May Term are eligible for care from the end of the Spring semester until the conclusion of May Term.
    • Summer Session 1 or Summer 8 Week 1 Only: Students enrolled in these terms are eligible for care from the end of the Spring semester until the conclusion of Summer Session 1.
    • Summer Session 2 or Summer 8 Week 2 Only: Students enrolled in these terms are eligible for care from the beginning of Summer Session 2 until the start of the Fall semester.
    • Summer Session 1 & 2 or Summer 8 Week 1 & 2: Students enrolled in both sessions are eligible for care from the end of the Spring semester until the start of the Fall semester.

Self-Directed Digital Resources

  • All Moravian students have access to wellness articles, podcasts, and videos, LIFT- a virtual fitness journey, and various health assessments through the Telus Health Student Support app.
